Synopsis
Squid Game is a South Korean dystopian survival thriller drama television series created, written, and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk for Netflix. The series revolves around a secret contest where 456 players, all of whom are in deep financial hardship, risk their lives to play a series of children's games that result in death if eliminated, for the chance to win a ₩45.6 billion prize. Why is the 1080p HDR file 15 GB while SDR is 25 GB?
It's supposed to be the opposite, right?
Does that mean the bitrate of the HDR file is lower?
And is it preferred to get the SDR version instead for the best quality?
Why you are comparing HEVC and x264?
HEVC comes with smaller file size and it's more optimized. HDR doesn't means it'll have more bitrate/size.
But HDR/DV always a better choice than x264 if you have HDR/DV supported Screen.
Please don't provide unnecessary subtitles only add english as it makes distortion when playing on samsung tv (it's a bug )
